Virtual Villagers 5 is the fifth installment of the wildly popular Strategy or Sim game series, and you get to explore all the secrets of Isola, while you reckon with some band of strange masked fellows who don't really believe in you. You are assigned to manage a tribe of starving people who are about to learn luck from a witch. Guide your tribe to glory by tearing down their most valuable artifacts and ridding themselves of their frightening masks, and making sure that the menfolk have a sufficient food supply. You will also need to think strategically to build up your town, fight nasty beasts, and find out who has betrayed them in the past. Do enough to secure your position, and you will soon become the most powerful tribe among all!
When you start Virtual Villagers 5, you will be shown a few introductory scenes and a few of the game's mechanisms. Now it is time to play the game as the adventurous virtual villagers and to help them out, you will need to make some essential decisions that can either add to their strength or ruin their chances. The five different characters that you can choose from include the evil witches, the savage wild boar, the greedy farmer, the greedy witch, and the lazy frog. Each one has a different set of skills and attributes, and using the right combination of these attributes to lead your virtual village through the various challenges will keep you interested for quite a long time.
As your virtual villagers begin to grow more confident, you will be able to send them out on missions to find new tribes of virtual villagers who have yet to accept Christianity as their faith. By sending your trusted villager to accomplish this mission, you will be strengthening your own tribe and spreading the idea of religion in the virtual world. Another aspect of the game that will provide a boost to your Christian beliefs is the ability to purchase houses for each of your villagers to live in. These houses will give them a nice place to live and worship God, and at the same time, will provide them with shelter from the harsh elements of the virtual world. This will allow your Christian virtual villagers to feel closer to the real people they are saving, and to understand more about how to build a better life for them.
