Sonic the Hedgehog - A History of One of the Most Famous Video Games
Sonic the Hedgehog(as he appears in the popular TV cartoon version) is a vertical scrolling platform game developed by Sonic Team and originally released for the Sega Genesis. It was later released for the PC and later, the PlayStation 2. In North America, it was later released as Sonic the Hedgehog for the Nintendo Gamecube. It received a critical acclaim and is one of the earliest games to be widely successful and continues to be a staple in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
In the latest release, Sonic and Tails is an exciting spin-off game which pits Sonic and Tails against a mysterious new enemy. With an all new playable character, this game promises to be even more fun and faithful to the core concepts of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The game utilizes the Wii motionPlus controller which allows for increased control of the movements of Sonic the Hedgehog which in turn gives a much more naturalized experience. The Wii remote and Nunchuck accessory is also featured in the game for more realistic movement and attacks.
