ImgBurn Review
ImgBurn was developed by Lightning UK, the creator of DVD Decrypter. After he was forced to halt development of DVD Decrypter because of a cease and desists order from Macrovision, ImgBurn was designed. Like other similar programs, ImgBurn does not have the capacity to bypass copy protection of encrypted DVDs; however, it has more advanced features than other similar programs. For example, unlike other software, ImgBurn has the capacity to compress video and audio files. It also provides users with a Windows interface that allows them to open and edit files on other computers. Movie creation software such as MovieSnapshot or Nitro Snap are not able to do this.
In addition to this ability, ImgBurn offers users a Windows interface that allows them to create a single folder of all their pictures or videos. By using this application, one can create a custom folder for each video or image. It is simple to use; it does not require the user to have command line know-how in order to run it. It is compatible with most computers that run Microsoft Windows and it can be installed within minutes without additional software required.
ImgBurn also has a Windows interface that allows users to drag and drop files from any location on their hard drive to the program's main window. The program is very simple to use. By simply double clicking the program icon, you will be taken to the main menu which contains several options including burning a single image file, burning multiple images, creating an animation and inserting text. You can also adjust the quality of your picture by cropping, removing red eye, converting color to sepia or using adjustable brightness and contrast. This application also includes other features such as creation of tabs to organize your media library, sorting by date, name, size, genre etc. and even bookmarking your favorite pictures for easy access.
