HttpWatch - Why Use HttpWatch?

HttpWatch is a free tool for HTTP monitoring. A tool which shows you exactly what your servers are up to, when they're running, how long they're running etc... HttpWatch comes with the Windows version, so you need not be concerned if you're on a different system. HttpWatch is Free and Safe to use! You can setup HttpWatch with a free 30-day trial period, just by getting the software.
HttpWatch has an inbuilt installer that you can run from either Windows Explorer or Control Panel / Add-Remove Programs. You can then select "HTT_SNMP" and click on it. This will bring up the details of the HTTP protocol, so you can see how your servers are responding. HttpWatch Basic version is also free, so you should not worry about purchasing an upgrade, unless you really want to. HttpWatch has been designed by two highly qualified IT professionals who are very familiar with Microsoft Windows networking tools (it's their job). I believe that it is extremely easy to use, and even a "beginner" to the Windows Networking world, can learn to use it.
The HTTP Watch feature of HttpWatch Basic version is supported by the Simtec web server, which is included within Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) platform. Simtec offers many free tools that are based on Microsoft technologies, and which you can find at: Simtec Home Server, Simtec Collector, and Simtec Enterprise Manager. HttpWatch integrates very well with the Windows Explorer web browser, as well as the Windows Service. HttpWatch runs very quickly under Windows Service Pack 2 and is very reliable and efficient.
