GTA5 Chaos Mod for Windows from developer pongo1231 is ideal for anyone who welcomes a dash of chaos into their games. GTA5 Chaos Mod throws in a bunch of incredibly random items, effects and events while playing Grand Theft Auto 5.
GTA Vice City and San Andreas incorporated chaos mods, so this GTA5 Chaos Mode aims to emulate that. GTA games have a long history of modding, so if you're one of the many modding enthusiasts, you may also be interested in GTA 5 Low End PC Mod and Download GTA 5 Prison Mod.
What does Chaos Mode do?
At the time of writing, the GTA5 Chaos Mod has an arsenal of around 300 different effects. Some are one-off effects while others are timed ones. You can configure the one-off effects to last as long as you want them to. Timed effects repeat for around ninety seconds before disappearing.
Effects are generated randomly, so you never know when all passing pedestrians may begin dancing or when you'll get hit by a whale falling from the sky.
Which versions of GTA5 does it work with?
The developer has tested the mod on the Steam version of GTA5; it generally works fine. Other versions may be less reliable, which may result in crashes of the game.
User sensitivity
GTA5 Chaos Mod includes some effects that could cause problems for players with tinnitus and all those who suffer from seizures. High Pitch, Deep Fried and Bubble Vision are three such effects, but in such an extensive list, there are likely to be others that could prove harmful.
Our take
GTA5 Chaos Mod borders on the anarchic as it attempts to mimic the chaos mods found on SA and VC. It's very easy to take Grand Theft Auto games too seriously, but the mod is enormous fun, and it’s great for reminding you that video games should be entertaining.
You'll need to remember though that as well as being gloriously silly, it's impossible to deny that the mod makes it virtually impossible to complete any missions. All you can do is relax and go along for the ride.
