FluffGen for Windows

FluffGen is a free download for Windows created by IcePickVasectomy. It's a farming sim in which you grow your operation by raising creatures called Fluffies. To keep them healthy and happy, you'll have to combine looking after their needs with shrewd, commercial decision-making.

Fluffies are so endearing that it takes a cold heart just to sit back and watch them deteriorate. That sense of responsibility for these fluffies is what helps to make FluffGen different from the average farming simulator. A couple of other ranch simulators that are also worth checking out are The Fertile Farm and Harvest VR.

Looking after the Fluffies

Whether you're raising Fluffies with the aim of selling them or making money by selling goods created from their by-products, you still need to ensure that they’re healthy, well-fed and happy. If you don't look after them properly, you'll see them descend into a state of misery and ill-health. It would be a shame to see these cute creatures in such poor condition. Another negative consequence of not looking after your creatures is that your farm also becomes unsustainable.

How does my farm make money?

Like any livestock farm, you have two options to generate income. You can breed fluffies to sell them and you can sell goods that you've made from them.

Our take

We like FluffGen’s use of super cute animals because it adds a moral aspect to the responsibility of caring for them. Usually, in farming sims, the success or failure of your operation just depends on your strategic and economic decisions. However, with such endearing creatures under your care, FluffGen goes beyond the simple generation of cold hard cash.
