Farming Simulator 25 features three main farming environments inspired by North America, Central Europe, and East Asia. Players can establish farms along winding rivers and grain elevators in North America, work fields surrounded by ponds in Central Europe, or cultivate crops in an East Asian landscape featuring rice paddies near a neon-lit port city. Each region offers different scenery and farm layouts that shape how players organize their fields and infrastructure.

Expanded crops and livestock

The game increases the crop selection to 25 varieties, introducing rice, spinach, peas, and green beans alongside greenhouse vegetables and forestry activities. The East Asian setting also highlights rice cultivation using water-retaining rice fields. Livestock management includes animals such as cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, and horses, with goats and water buffalo added to the lineup. Baby animals further enhance the sense of a living farm environment.

Authentic machinery and modern technology

Machinery remains central to the Farming Simulator experience. Farming Simulator 25 includes over 400 vehicles and tools from more than 150 real-world agricultural brands, including Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Valtra. New features such as GPS-assisted steering and improved automation allow for more precise fieldwork and more efficient large-scale farming operations.

Dynamic weather and technical improvements

Environmental systems have been expanded with weather events such as twisters and hail, which can affect crops and require players to adapt their plans. The game also introduces ground deformation, allowing tire tracks and heavy machinery to leave visible marks on the terrain.

Farming Simulator 25 runs on GIANTS Engine 10, bringing improvements to graphics, physics, and environmental detail. Accessibility and quality-of-life updates aim to make the game more approachable for new players, though learning the various farming systems and mechanics may take some time for beginners.
