Free beta testing of PUBG Mobile
Screenshots
Beta PUBG Mobile is not the fully released, official version of PUBG Mobile, but is a free beta version offered to gamers to test new features. It has similar Battle Royale elements as Call of Duty: Mobile and Fortnite, placing you in an arena where you fight against other gamers. It isn’t stable, but the main reason is due to the nature of the beta environment.
The premise is the same as the official game. You may receive a PUBG Mobile invitation to test new features before plunging onto the battlefield and shooting your enemies.
The Beta-testing environment
The developers, Tencent Games loves to test new features before releasing them to the official game. It prevents the app from crashing or gamers complaining about something not working. The Beta PUBG Mobile application provides the ideal environment for players to try the new functions and see what problems arise.
Extra modes and features
You may find some beta modes that aren’t available in PUBG Mobile at the moment. For instance, it has a 4 vs 4 mode, fight against zombie hordes, and an arena where you control various vehicles. Some of these may never appear in the official game, so at least you can try them while no one else can.
Unstable gameplay
Of course, you can expect glitches and unstable gameplay. Such is the nature of beta testing, where the developers haven’t completed all of the objects in the environment or they encounter new bugs that require better coding. Feedback from players is welcome so that they can improve the mechanics.
No official ranking
There is no official ranking in Beta PUBG Mobile related to the official game unless it’s part of the test. They are unrelated and don’t carry over from one app to the other. You’ll also have no bragging rights in the testing environment.
Test PUBG Mobile features before they release
If you’d like to test any new PUBG Mobile features before they officially launch, give this beta version a try. You’ll have access to modes that no longer exist in the official game. Be prepared for some frustration along the way, but we think it’s still an enjoyable experience.
