First-person WW2 shooter for Android
Screenshots
Like the rest of the Battlefield series, the mobile version for Android is a WW2 first-person shooter (FPS). Fans of the franchise won’t be disappointed with this entry. The promise of the usual large-scale battles, extensive arsenal and unique classes of heroes is definitely present.
You'll have to assemble your squad, build up your weaponry and do all you can to control the various battlefields. Battlefield Mobile has plenty of variety for new and veteran players alike with single-player, multiplayer and team modes. At the time of writing, no price has been announced. For other FPS options, check out World War Heroes: WW2 and Zombie Frontier 3: Sniper.
Gameplay
Set during the Second World War, you and your crew will have to rally your squad and lead it on various missions to keep the enemy at bay. Among the maps available to you, some locations will be familiar, but others won't.
You can choose from four different characters within the squad. The options are infantry, support, medic or reconnaissance. Whichever you choose, you'll have to develop your skills and work as part of a team to destroy the battlefield.
Strategies
You’ll have to employ a variety of strategies to secure victory. According to the current situation, you must decide whether to attack on foot for agility, use stealth to get up close to your foe or go for widespread destruction at the wheel of an ATV.
Customisation
Each playable character has its own mission, and you have to customise them so that they have the best weapons. You can also personalise each character by choosing elements such as their physical appearance and the gadgets they're equipped with.
Fight your battle
Electronic Arts announced Battlefield Mobile in April 2021, and now the franchise has arrived on mobile. At the time of writing, no price has been confirmed, but we would expect it to be at par with the rest of EA's range of mobile games.
Given that Battlefield Mobile was developed by the same studio within EA as the console version, we're looking forward to a similarly immersive experience on Android devices. We’re also encouraged by the fact that they didn't rush the game out in an unfinished state just to compete with WW2 shooters that have beaten them to market.
