Game strategies
The main weapons for a Witcher are their two swords: made out of silver or steel. The magical silver sword gives you an advantage because monsters have a weakness to this material. You won’t start the game with a silver sword as you will need to earn at least 1,800 points to buy one.
If you prefer not to purchase weapons and other equipment, you’ll need to learn how to parry. To parry, tap and hold on to the screen. If you see a red skull icon flash above the monster’s health bar, it means it’s going to attack. Then, you can time your parry to the moment of the monster’s attack. Take note that you can’t counter and attack at once. You have to stop swinging your sword before you can block any attack.
Magic potions help to give you more power during battle. You’ll get ingredients for these potions when you win a fight or you can look for them in the green bushes around you.
Earning coins
One way to earn coins is by completing all the objectives of a quest. Another way is to take part in the daily contracts where you finish simple tasks for a reward. If you complete seven of these, you’ll earn a bigger prize.
