Free Halloween horror game

Saiko no Sutoka Halloween Edition is a free horror game for Windows. The title uses an anime art style to convey its Yandere horror, depicting a young girl who slowly wants to kill you. However, this Halloween edition uses themes such as being dead to create a more profound sense of fear.
Saiko no Sutoka Halloween Edition is an altered version of Saiko no Sutoka and plays similarly but with its own twist. Other horror alternatives you may enjoy are Midnight Maid Night and Andy's Apple Farm; both are simple and quick to play but deliver a satisfying and fearful experience.
Halloween horror
Halloween is the game's central theme, as stated in the title. Characters from the original game are dressed in costumes or a typical Halloween trope, such as being undead. This theme matches the anime art style well, as the costumes appear flawless and work alongside the story.
As the style has an element of cuteness, it makes the game feel unassuming in its horror. This mechanic can feel surprising when the yandere suddenly snaps and begins to kill you.
Three game modes
Saiko no Sutoka Halloween Edition offers three different game modes to play through. The easy mode offers many advantages, as Saiko will lose hunger slower. Yui, the yandere you're running from, will ambush you less frequently and can be triggered at will.
Normal mode is the intended game setting, having Saiko start off as dead and needing to be revived by you. Yui can always ambush you or Saiko and always be nearby. In the hard mode, Saiko is already revised and hungry, needing food more often. Saiko will also seek meat from you, the player, and Yui, making gameplay more challenging.
Run
Saiko no Sutoka Halloween Edition is a horror game where you'll need to run away from the yandere trying to kill you. The title isn't challenging but offers three difficulty levels for you to challenge yourself.
Saiko no Sutoka Halloween Edition and its original game, Saiko no Sutoka, are available on Windows. The title has a play-time of just over one hour, depending on how many modes are played and how quickly you progress. Unlike the original, Saiko no Sutoka Halloween Edition has no old version to download.
