Have you ever felt like you needed more filters than what’s available on Insta and Snapchat? Well, maybe you need Retrica in your life; it’s packed with so many tools that it will make whatever selfie or landscape picture you take look perfect.
Steep learning curve
Unfortunately, the app is takes some getting used to. However, once you find that right filter, it will be saved to your favourites list, making adding filters a breeze.
Slow video function
It can take a while to start up the app, find the image, and add the frame, so it’s not made for snapping quick pics. The video function is a bit slow. Finally, saving your creation can be problematic at times.
Bugs and Issues
This programme is perfect in most of its functions expect the new video software which is a bit buggy. The sound is glitchy at best, and sometimes it cuts out altogether. Other than that, the application runs perfectly and has extensive features you can use to edit and personalise any image.
Import media files from Instagram
Retrica is not the only app that provides filters. Instagram and Pixlr are good alternatives with different strengths. Retrica shines with a vast number of filters and the ability to load your pictures right to Instagram. This is an app to consider.
