A new Mortal Kombat story

There’s a new dark evil in Mortal Kombat: Onslaught that the Elder Gods want you to take care of. However, you won’t play as a single character. Instead, you’ll choose your fighters who will enter levels and battle enemies along the way. As you progress, you unlock new fighters to join your team. It’s down to you to ensure the bad guys don’t win.

Clearing levels

The gameplay in Mortal Kombat: Onslaught mostly involves selecting fighters that will enter levels for you to clear. They and the enemies have health bars, with characters dying when the bar is empty. You’ll have to use strategy to decide who to take with you into levels. Also, you can upgrade fighters to make them more powerful.

Fighting in the PvP arena

When you’re done fighting bots in Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, it’s time to take the action online and really test your might. Two players can challenge each other in 5v5 matches, with each side selecting their top five fighters. From there, you battle it out until only one player is left standing.

Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is an official Warner Bros game that pits the legendary MK characters against each other. It doesn’t follow the standard fighting scenes but adds an RPG element to it. 

You’ll clear levels and upgrade characters for the most part. It’s a new fun way to enjoy the Mortal Kombat universe.
