An iOS simulator for Windows
iPadian is a simulator that runs features of the Apple OS on Windows devices for free. It allows for access to Siri, WatchOS, TvOS, and the App Store.
Limited
iPadian does not serve as an emulator per se. Instead, it stimulates the user interface or an iOS device on Windows 7 and up PCs.
This process takes place in a window of your core OS and uses native apps, software, and files. In the same vein, it doesn't grant you with all iOS applications. Instead, you only have a pre-packaged, limited selection of around 300 choices.
Good visuals
Still, the look is impeccable, together with a browser, music, photos, videos, as well as a pinch of free games and handy, entertaining apps.
This tool is straightforward to use, primarily if you have previous experience with iOS. On the right side of your screen, you'll find your options one click away.
The Dashboard, the main part of your screen, contains a search bar, several apps, and Facebook widgets. It also features shortcuts to various apps. However, you can't change them, remove them, or add new ones.
Good for testing
The biggest qualm with the interface is the number of ads it regularly displays. You can go for an upgrade, called iPadian Pro, which provides you with more apps and rids you of any ads.
While this programme is a fantastic choice to test the waters with Apple for free, it limits you significantly. Competitors such as SmartFace iOS and Air iPhone provide you with much more, but not free of charge.
Not a true simulator
While this software does provide you with the smooth look and feel of the Apple OS, and grants you access to some of the most popular titles by the developers, it is far from an actual emulator. While it’s excellent for getting the taste of using an iPad or iPhone, it’s too limited for long-term use.
