Developed by Grenaa Games, Fabledom is a quirky yet intriguing addition to the city-building game genre. Unlike similar titles that focus on more modern civilizations, this simulator takes you to a rustic, medieval town straight out of a fairytale. Instead of playing a mayor, you will become either a prince or a princess in this one.
Currently in Early Access mode, Fabledom allows you to choose your character and romantic prospects. Pursuing someone plays a large role in the development of your settlement. You must carefully manage resources like food and wood, and delegate tasks to the citizenry. However, some players have reported bugs, which are expected to be fixed in future updates.
Refreshing with its romantic aspect, Fabledom spins the typical city-building game into something whimsical and fantastical. While it employs the usual gameplay mechanics of the sub-genre, such as growing a town and managing its resources or delegating tasks to citizens, it also introduces a fresh and charming romance element. Currently available in Early Access mode.
