Buzz Lightyear As a Character in Toy Story Toys
When Buzz Lightyear goes inside the toy box on the movie's final page, he pops out a couple of toys that are included with the movie: a police car, and a minibus. Both of these toys were included with some Japanese DVD's when the movie was released in Japan, but they weren't available in North America at that point. We know they were in fact in American stores by the time the DVD release came out! But still, the Toy Story DVDs is great, and I recommend them for the kids - you can buy them anywhere from a dollar to about $40.
Buzz is one of those characters that is so beloved by so many people that I almost listed him as a character meant to be funny, but then I remembered how much I loved the Toy Story toy box, so I put him on the list instead. He's one of those characters, that if you grew up with the Toy Story films, you'll still love him! He's so popular with little boys that the producers of the Toy Story toy boxes actually had a contest to see who could fill out the most unique character boxes. They called it the "Most Unique Box" and gave a prize to the winner. This was one of those moments where it's like, "We got him!"
