UMPlayer for Mac is a free media player with support for all major audio and video formats plus a range of extra features. While Apple's iTunes offers unrivaled media library management, it is let down by limited format support and being a bit bloated. Many users prefer lighter and more flexible players like VLC media player, and now you can add UMPlayer to the list.
In terms of functionality, UMPlayer is great. Files are easy to open, and it will play pretty much anything you want.
