Ultimate Dictionary is a complete collection of dictionaries held in a comprehensive application for your Windows desktop. It includes a huge collection of dictionaries, which enable you to locate definitions, synonyms and translations in a plethora of different languages.
Ultimate Dictionary has a very standard explorer interface that has two main areas: in the left panel you choose from either the list of available dictionaries or the list of word results as you search, and in the right panel, words' definitions and/or translations.
Overall, Ultimate Dictionary is a powerful application that is easy to use and performs very quick searches. The downside is that you are not able to perform simple functions, such as minimize to system tray or add new dictionaries. This lack of functionality does let Ultimate Dictionary down somewhat.
