TVShows for Mac

TVShows is a free Mac application developed by Ember Code that allows users to easily track and download their favorite TV show torrents. With TVShows, you no longer have to manually search for torrents or find a working RSS feed for each show. The program automatically tracks and downloads the torrent files needed for your favorite TV shows.

One of the main advantages of TVShows is its ability to automatically open your preferred BitTorrent client to download the files. This means that you can configure TVShows to work seamlessly with your existing BitTorrent client, saving you time and effort.

TVShows is a preference pane app that offers a simple and intuitive interface. You can easily select your subscriptions and set your preferences, including choosing your preferred image quality. The program uses a lightweight background process that automatically checks for new episodes at a customized interval.

However, it's important to note that TVShows does not download the actual episodes for you, only the torrent files. It is not a BitTorrent client itself. While the latest version of TVShows promises to download HD torrents, we found that it had some issues with retrieving torrent files after searching. Overall, TVShows is a useful tool for tracking and managing your TV show torrents, but it may still be a work in progress.
