Excavator Crane Simulator 3D from MegaByte Studios is an exciting new game on the Android Market. This game provides the user with the ability to choose from a wide range of machines and to manipulate them with the touch of your finger. To control the crane you just point and drag it in any direction with your finger or stylus. The more points you accumulate, the greater capabilities you will have for maneuvering the crane and the more complex routes you can create for your ride. Excavator Crane Simulator 3D has also been designed as a fun activity for children and is part of the educational category of Android apps.
This is not the first attempt at an Excavator Crane Simulator application however, that is for the MegaByte Studios they already have an impressive game called The Tower Defense Game on the iPhone which received good reviews both for its fun factor and its educational aspect. This time around the game has been adapted to run on the Android operating system, which is evident by the app's name. Mega Byte Studios has retained the idea of their previous flash game and adapted it for use on the most popular smartphone operating systems, which include Android Kit Kat 4.4 and Android Q fragmentation. According to the company, this port was made possible with the help of many different contributors. Those who contributed to this project are: Artyom, Alexey, Albert, Ben, Boaz, Chris, David, Diego, Evan, Fred, George, Holger, Jan, John, Joseph, Martin, Michael, Oscar, Oleg, Patrik, Ray, Sam, Silas, Shlomi, Sonja, Taku, Tom, and Will. This is not to mention the many people and companies who have helped make this possible through their dedication, professionalism, and effort to make sure the project would be released in a timely fashion.
The Tower Defense game for iPhone and the Excavator Crane Simulator for Android differ only by the screen resolution and the graphics involved. Both run smoothly and have good controls, although the game played on the smaller device might be less interesting due to its reduced screen size. Nevertheless, users can always enjoy the ride from one platform to another since the interface is very user-friendly. Aside from the port for Android and the free game on the iTunes, the company plans to update the loader dozer and the tower defense games for both the Apple iPhone and the Android. We can also expect more exciting stuff in the future including other platforms and mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones.
