Bejeweled 3 Review

Bejeweled 3 is an interactive puzzle game released and developed by PopCap Games, a company known for its other successful puzzle games including the Bejeweled and TileAacle series. Bejeweled is an upgraded version of the classic puzzle game that originally came out in 2021. It's the follow up to the hit Bejeweled game, where players were tasked to drop gems on top of a platform, making them spin around and drop them into a special slot. The new Bejeweled 3 has all the same content from the earlier games in the Bejeweled franchise, but the levels are harder and the gem-dropping rate is higher. It's also now available on several different mobile platforms, including the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
This Bejeweled 3 revises and refines the fundamentals of the original, adding a few fresh features as well. For example, instead of dropping the gems onto a platform in a single motion, the gameplay now requires you to place the gems in a circular pattern, which will cause them to spin faster, eventually reaching the goal block. Similarly, instead of dropping the gems all at once, you must simultaneously click on each of them, causing them to be dropped in a single motion. In addition, the game now uses the ios technology for its user interface, which allows for more vibrant colors and more detailed icons.
Bejeweled 3 introduces the concept of Bejeweled Gels, which is used to power up the main gem wheel. When using a gel, you can trigger special tiles to drop, greatly improving your ability to earn points, earning you the level and eventually unlocking the gem that you want. A nice feature this time around is that there are no more backtracking on the same level, as the game now presents different levels with various gem types and different layouts. However, one major disappointment with Bejeweled 3 (other than the slower gem spinning) is that there is still no option to pause the game during play. The one issue I have with the game is that it does not support the audio track of the real-time strategy genre, so if you do enjoy playing real-time strategies and fighting against computer-simulated enemies, then you may want to skip this game.
