Is the Modernized Solitaire App Better Than the Old Solitaire Game in the Old Style?
Solitaire is probably one of the most famous games ever. It is a classic game played by millions all around the world. The history of Solitaire goes back more than fifty years - it was first published in Packard's pocket calculator in 1959. Over the decades, the Solitaire series of games has gone through many improvements. In this article I will discuss some of these improvements, both from the original version of Solitaire and those that are available for modern devices.
Solitaire for Android is an adaptation of Ken Magic's classic" Solitaire" for small devices with many hardware buttons. Major changes against the original Ken Magic solitaire - for instance: enable card dealing in portrait mode. Add text-to-speech capability, high-res graphics, landscape orientation support, and Tablet support. Also add language translations: Finnish, French, German, Polish, and Esperanto.
I believe that Android users would enjoy the simple solitaire app more than they would the classic version. It's a nice app with a nice interface. But I don't think it is as good as the classic version. It would be nice if the interface was simplified. Plus, there are tons of other Android apps that do the same thing and make it more convenient and fun to play solitaire with friends and family. The ability to add a bunch of extra apps for your phone is just an added feature and would help improve the experience.
