Shame Legacy gives off vibes similar to The Forest or The Call of Cthulhu, but with less combat and more stealth.

Shame Legacy kicks off with an intriguing premise. Your character is described as an inheritor of an ancient curse. Set in a 19th-century cultist village forsaken by society, you find yourself waking up in the middle of the gathering. With no recollection of how you got there or what the curse is all about, you escape and start discovering more of the island and its secrets. As mentioned, it features minimal combat capabilities in the form of a cane to stave off your attackers. Most of the time, you will be forced to rely on stealth and wit to outmatch and outrun the rest of your pursuers. Puzzles also form an integral part of the gameplay experience, coming in different forms to test even the most experienced of players. The only thing to note in this game is the presence of mature content. Its premise is centered around cults, conspiracies, and the otherworldly. The game itself offers generous amounts of gore and violence, with other materials sexual in nature, making it unsuitable for younger players. Other than that, this is a promising single-player horror experience made in Unreal Engine 4.
