miniMIZE Review

miniMIZE is a system tuning and utilities program developed by Stephen Kew. It is available for free on the Windows platform. This program offers an alternate way to minimize active windows and move between them. Instead of storing them in the toolbar, miniMIZE creates small thumbnails on your desktop, one for each of your active apps and folders. These thumbnails enable you to preview the content of a minimized folder and also distinguish between applications more easily.
However, there are a few drawbacks to using miniMIZE. Firstly, the thumbnails disappear when maximizing a window, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, it is not clear if miniMIZE offers any significant advantages over the Windows taskbar. If you have multiple minimized elements, your desktop can quickly become cluttered with thumbnails. Furthermore, once you open an app or folder in full screen, you may lose track of the thumbnails unless you mark them to be permanently on top, which can take up a lot of space.
Overall, while miniMIZE aims to provide an easier way to manage minimized windows, it could benefit from some improvements in its implementation.
