Free sniper simulator for Android
Screenshots
K-Sniper Challenge 3D is a free shooter for Android devices by Homa Games. The game looks like yet another Squid Game imitation, but it has unique game mechanics. In K-Sniper Challenge 3D, you’re no longer a player clamouring for a colossal piggy bank while you survive; you are the sniper.
This game will undoubtedly launch a new breed of Squid Game imitations because it gives shooter games the ability to capitalise on Squid Game’s resounding success. While you’re waiting for the market to be flooded by free Squid Game shooters, Modern Sniper by Candy Mobile, Sniper Champions by Gameloft SE and Zombie Assault: Sniper are brilliant sniper games with good graphics and impressive overall mechanics.
Gameplay
You’re no longer the iconic player 456 in his original position in the game. According to the description, player 456 is back for revenge. Your objective is to stand on a platform above the various stages of the Squid Game competition and shoot players who lose individual games. You only have a few seconds to eliminate your targets, and failing means being eliminated yourself.
Attention to detail
While this game is a different side of the Android imitation Squid Game universe that hasn’t been overly done, it isn’t very good.
Fans of the show and other Android games will know that the robotic doll in Red Light, Green Light turns her head quickly with a signature mechanical sound effect. The developers of K-Sniper Challenge 3D have created the right atmosphere with the sound effects, but the speed at which the robot’s head turns around is far slower, so it doesn’t match the sound.
The physics incorporated into K-Sniper Challenge 3D seems to be better, though. Players will buckle and fall in different ways depending on where you shoot them. But this, too, is limited. The players only seem to have two hitboxes. One is located in the head and another in the body, while shots to even one arm or leg will kill players instantly.
Decent
If you view K-Sniper Challenge 3D as a precursor for the inevitable onslaught of Android shooters taking place in the Squid Game universe, the game is fairly good. But as a shooter in its own right, K-Sniper Challenge 3D doesn’t have the graphics, attention to detail or game physics to set it apart in a world of incredible Android shooters that already exist.
There are few gameplay elements to enjoy, so it’s best to see it as a casual game that caters to Squid Game fans.
