ProgDVB is a useful tool, which allows you to watch SAT-TV and listen to digital radio channels directly from satellite by using DVB-PCI cards with hardware decoders on the board, SAT-dish, and personal x86-compatible computer. This app has options for working with network broadcasting and Audio or Video recording of the stream to different digital-media formats. Support for various types of sources of Internet TV and Radio, including: DVB-S/S2 (satellite),DVB-C (cable), DVB-T/T2, ATSC, ISDB-T. IPTV. Kartina TV, Rodina TV, OTT Club, Shura TV, Sovok TV. Audials Radiotracker is an app that provides you with the ability to scan numerous online radio stations and then record your favourite songs. Audials Radiotracker supports a number of radio streaming formats, such asg MP3, WMA and AAC, in addition to the standard SHOUTcast radio stations, of which there are approx 90,000 Internet radio stations to choose from. Music TV: Receive and watch video and shows. Media Center: Enjoy music, movies and entertainment anywhere. The app does have some good features such as automatic ID3 tagging, album artwork and lyrics and you can sort stations by genre, language, country, region and artist. There are a few drawbacks though. The interface is not really that intuitive and can seem a little clunky and crowded. The big downside of Audials Radiotracker is that it will drain your system resources quite heavily. This is ok if you are a power user, but if not, then I think your system is going to struggle if you are running any other memory intensive apps. The help manual is something you should really read through before you start tinkering around with this app. The files are easy to locate and you can also find lots of tutorial resources on-line.

You can use it to listen to high audio quality audio form a variety of sources. With some useful features, such as the ability to adjust the speed and pitch, and follow along to your favourite tracks with the ‘sync lyrics’ feature, you can see why GOM audio is a cut above your standard media player. It consumes hardly any system resources and the interface has a simple design that is easy to navigate around. GOM Audio is also skinnable, so if you don’t like how it looks, you can choose a different skin from the preferences menu.
