The game takes place in the floating continent-sized island of Elfheim, where players will embark on a magical journey as Informis, a Slime king who finds himself in a foreign world. The original soundtrack adds to the immersive experience, as players uncover the mysteries of the giant tree that hosts a deep library inside its trunk.
