DLNA media streaming & mirroring is a free streaming app developed by EasyToolApps. Like Screen Mirroring, HD Video Screen Mirroring Cast and Miracast Screen Mirroring WiFi Display, it lets you stream your phone video to your TV. However, there are several other features.
Besides mirroring your phone screen, it lets you stream different local media directly to your TV. You need to have a DLNA-enabled TV or Miracast dongle. It’s been tested with many phone brands and generally works well with most devices on the market. It also needs a WiFi connection; both devices must be connected to the same network.
Straightforward use
With DLNA media streaming & mirroring, you don’t need to understand complicated connection settings. After connecting both phone and TV to the same WiFi connectionThe app is incredibly simple to use after.
A user-friendly interface allows you to check your media, search for devices and mirror the screen with a few taps. It has a pleasing orange-colour theme and big, clear icons and screens for connecting, checking files, etc.
Share everything
One advantage of DLNA media streaming & mirroring is that you can reproduce almost everything from your phone on your TV. You can stream YouTube videos, videos you recorded with the phone camera and pictures from any source. Additionally, you can play audio files on the TV.
That said, some users report having problems with specific media. For example, some can reproduce most videos fine, except the ones they recorded with their phone’s video app.
Worth checking out
DLNA media streaming & mirroring offers you features that you can find elsewhere but does so in a neat, easy-to-use package. Just download the app and start enjoying your phone on a bigger screen. It supports a wide range of phones, and it works well on most phones, with just a few exceptions.
Unfortunately, it’s only useful for DLNA-enabled TVs, so if your TV doesn’t comply with this certification, it may not work. There’s also the issue of ads. Sometimes, there are simply too many before starting, which may lead you to believe the app is frozen. That said, it’s a good alternative to consider when streaming.
