For those of you unfamiliar with the game, the interface and controls are very similar to our other popular freeware applications. Here's a quick rundown of what's new in the newest edition of this classic game:
A: While our previous releases of the Chessmaster series were well received on computers and handhelds, the 10th edition is a significant upgrade to our previous releases. Windows is now the primary platform for the Chessmaster game. However, we will continue to support other operating systems, including Mac and Linux, in future releases. As always, the software requires an internet connection to run. If you are having trouble connecting to the Internet, please ensure that you have a good connection before proceeding.
Q: How do I download the Chessmaster 10th Edition to play online? A: Currently, you can obtain the Chessmaster application through the "Downloads" section of our main site. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the software onto your computer. Please be aware, however, that due to recent updates to the Chessmaster application, we are no longer able to provide download support for the older versions of the software.
