UDISE Elementary: A Mobile App for Education Management Information System
UDISE Elementary is a mobile application designed and developed by Avalon Information Systems Pvt. Ltd with the support of UNICEF and maintained by the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA). This app provides quick and easy access to information on 97 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Elementary level schools based on the Unified District Information System for Education (U-DISE). This app is available for Android devices and is free to download and use.
The app includes indicators related to school and facilities, enrollment, teacher, and outcome indicators. Users can view trends of KPIs and disaggregated information by management of schools, gender, social groups, and location. The information is available at various administrative levels such as national, state, district, and block. Users can also visualize information in charts and maps, and easily share it through email or social media. However, it must be noted that the maps, graphs, data, and/or information are for information purposes only and do not have any legal sanctity.
