Subcooling & Superheat Calc is a free Android application developed by Nun-EZ that allows HVAC professionals to easily calculate subcooling and superheat values without the need for expensive equipment or complicated charts. This app is a useful tool for anyone in the HVAC industry as it simplifies the sub-cooling or super-heat process.
The app is user-friendly and can be used on-the-go as it is always available on your mobile device. It works with R22 or R410a, temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and pressure in PSI or Kg/cm2. To calculate sub-cooling, simply select the sub-cooling temperature given by the manufacturer and update the temperature reading in the liquid line. The app will then give you the pressure required to meet your selected sub-cooling. For superheat, adjust the temperature in the suction line and the reading of the pressure in the low side, and the app will display the real-time superheat temperature.
