One of the features that I'm finding really helpful in today's fast paced operating system environment is the built in functionality to schedule tasks with Microsoft. I've found that scheduling tasks as well as tasks on the schedule will really help me be more productive. My personal use of RunMe has been quite effective at helping me to better organize my time and to speed up my daily tasks. I was having a lot of trouble getting all of my programs up to par with the level of organization that I wanted, but with RunMe I've been able to optimize the way that I use my computer.
As far as the command line tools installed with RunMe, I love the fact that I don't even need to use Explorer for anything. RunMe automatically detects all of the programs that you may need and launches them for you, allowing you much more screen space than with most other systems. The main concept behind RunMe is actually to enhance your productivity by letting you avoid the Windows Start Menu altogether which is, of course, great for people who like to get right to work.
Basically, all you have to do is launch the program, select a program, and then simply type in whatever command line tools that you would like to use. That is pretty much all there is to how to schedule tasks with the RunMe utility. If you need to know how to run a program from your editors, then you'll need to launch your editor, select an appropriate file and then simply double click on the RunMe icon to run the program. In terms of configuration, you simply need to launch the editor, find your RunMe launch configuration, select the commands you want to be run, click enter, then you're done!
