Progressbar95 is a unique adventure game that brings back the nostalgia of vintage GUI elements. The game turns elements like panels, buttons, and icons into game elements, making it a powerful retro time killer. The objective of the game is to fill the progress bar by fighting against virtual office assistants, calculators, annoying pop-ups, and maddening visual glitches. Move your progress bar with your mouse to fill it faster, get points, and obtain upgrades to make your virtual computer faster and more powerful.
The game features simple and addictive gameplay, original and creative game modes, and a built-in text-based adventure based on DOS. There are tons of secrets and easter eggs for players to search for, a powerful system of upgrades to turn your 386 PC into a supercomputer, and about 20 systems to unlock, from PB-DOS Shell to Progressbar 1X. Additionally, there's a digital pet in the form of a trash bin that you have to feed to get bonuses, an original soundtrack by Gemfire including PC-speaker and MIDI-mixes, and achievements and missions to complete.
Overall, Progressbar95 is a fun and challenging adventure game that offers a unique experience for players who love vintage GUI elements.
