One Piece Fighting Path is a free-action RPG for Android by developer Nurse. In this game, based on the anime One Piece, you travel from island to island in order to battle enemies and level up your characters.
Like other games such as Payback Showdown, you need to fight opponents in an arena brawler. However, much like Terraria, it has an open world to explore.
Great combination of fighting and exploration
One Piece Fighting Path is a good mix of exploration and fighting. Unlike many JRPG games, combat is in real time, and to engage in fights, all you need to do is talk to the different enemies you find.
The exploration of the vast sea is rewarding too. You can navigate freely to the many islands that comprise the game map and find different characters. But that’s not all. You’ll also encounter random events, collect treasure, go on special missions and much more.
Colourful and detailed graphics
The game’s graphics don’t impress much but are beautifully drawn. Everything stands out brightly, including the characters and settings. The third-person perspective makes it look slightly generic from time to time, but it still looks good enough.
The animations and UI also look good. The latter manages to deliver a lot of information, including buttons to perform different skills, without being too obtrusive.
Faithful to the original anime
The game recreates the story and characters of One Piece in detail, as well as some important moments in the series. Among the characters from the series, you’ll be able to control Luffy, Zorro, Sanji and others.
Each character has its own special attributes and skills, and they can be fully customised with different armour and weapons.
