A Look At The New Zealand Television Museum
JW Library is the primary application of Jehovah's Witnesses (NZ), which consists of several books and publications to study from, including a free version of The Bible. New Zealand is a country of over three hundred million people of various Christian religions, with the population spread across all the major islands. A large proportion of these people are JW's who live amongst them in what is commonly known as a Watchtower Society. The Bible has always been a favourite text for JW's and is still one of their most used books, but recently there have been additional additions to the range, such as the "Bible Bible Study Book" and "Watchtower Bible Study".
This application allows you to experience what it's like to be part of a religious group, by being able to join a virtual convention of fellow believers. There is a particular requirement for a person to be a true "Witness" before they can become a member of a virtual convention. "Witnesses" are required to undergo a lengthy process of screening and interviews before they are accepted into a league. After this initial screening, if the applicant is deemed genuine, then they will be awarded a card, which identifies them as a "Witness" and helps them to attend the virtual convention.
Currently, the NZ Bible Society has twelve bible versions to choose from, in addition to the two main bible covers found on each cover. There is also a free version of the Bible available for downloading from the official JW website, which gives you the ability to download and view a copy of the complete Bible in its entirety. As of this writing there are no plans to develop an official app for the iPhone or Android platforms, however the opportunity to do so in the future may arise. What we know for sure is that the future for JW's is bright, and there are several exciting opportunities in store for those who have faithfully joined the Kiwi Witnesses.
