To use the app, all you need to do is find what you need among the selection of preset areas on it and download it. It has no limits on the number of downloadable maps.
With regards to limitations, the public transport info is available for most big cities, but you won't find it for any place you visit. The taxi service is enabled in most of the towns, which the app covers.

You can use this app on Android and iOS devices without any in-app purchases. All you need to do is turn on the GPS on your device and run the map. It even works without a signal.
You'll need to keep running GPS in the background while using the app, which can influence your battery life.
An excellent assistant
