Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart - A Cartoon Racing Game with Dinosaurs
Screenshots
Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is a cartoon racing game that takes place during the time of the dinosaurs. It is an arcade-style racing game along the lines of Mario Kart and features local multiplayer through a split-screen competitive mode. This feature makes it suitable for party play.
The game follows the same basic formula as other cartoon racing games, such as Beach Buggy Racing, Barji Kart, and the aforementioned Mario Kart series. While still offering a challenge to more skilled players, it is suitable for casual players.
Racing in the cretaceous
The premise of the game is simply a cartoon racing game set in the age of the dinosaurs. The contestants in the race are dinosaurs, and the setting is based on what the world would have been like at that time. Like many games of this style, there are power-ups to collect and different tracks to race.
Familiar gameplay
Anyone who has played games like Mario Kart will be familiar with the gameplay style of Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart. The racing physics are not intended to be realistic, and players can use power-ups and combat tactics to gain an advantage over other players. There are 15 tracks to race and a selection of environments to race in.
A fun racing game
Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart may not offer much that can't be found in other racing games of this style, but it is a solid game with plenty of content. The dinosaur theme is not a commonly used theme for racing games, so that helps it stand out more. Having split-screen PvP also makes it a good party game.
