Cell Widget is a free Android application in the Utilities & Tools category developed by Hannes Boran. This widget offers a comprehensive display of mobile network information, including operator name, MCC, MNC, speed indicators like HSDPA and LTE, LAC, cell-ID, and dBm levels. Users can customize the displayed information according to their preferences. Text color, size, opacity, and notification settings are adjustable, enhancing user experience.
The widget also features an auto collect new cells function that names cells based on their location and allows users to flag specific cells as home cells. This functionality enables cost-effective phone calls when in designated areas. However, manual cell flagging is required as automatic flagging is not supported.
