CatEye is a collection of eight bundles of special effects for iChat and Photo Booth. The program allows users to enhance their video chats and photos with various retro and artistic effects. With CatEye, users can easily access and install the effects, which work seamlessly with both iChat and Photo Booth.
The eight bundles of special effects included in CatEye are RetroPixels, LoveFor80s, BentPels, FewTile, BoobToob, and more. Each bundle can be installed separately, and they are conveniently grouped together in Photo Booth. For those looking to add some excitement to their conversations or surprise their friends, CatEye even features a Pong video game effect, where balls fly across the screen.
CatEye offers a wide range of retro effects, including VHS video effects with a green hue for an authentic worn effect, as well as flower child polaroid style effects. However, while the selection of effects is generous, not all of them are well designed. Some effects are poorly designed or difficult to identify.
Nevertheless, CatEye provides a fun way to spice up iChat and Photo Booth sessions on a Mac. It is easy to use and offers a variety of effects to choose from.
