Casual multiplayer survival game

Released in 2018, Among Us is a casual, free-to-play game by InnerSloth. While primarily for mobile, it's also available on various other platforms and allows for cross-play. The sessions are relatively short, and if the crewmates work together, finding the imposter isn't that hard. It's the perfect party game and works via online multiplayer and over a local WiFi network.
Finding imposters on a ship
Among Us is a short, fun party mobile game that's very reminiscent of Town of Salem and Push the Button. You'll either be an alien imposter, or a crewman trying to save your spaceship from sabotage.
Although some strategy is required, the game is extremely easy. Unlike Space Station 13, which has a steep learning curve, Among Us is perfect for casual players. Whether you joke around with a few friends over WiFi or play with strangers online, you're almost guaranteed a silly experience.
Survival of the smartest
If you're the imposter, sneaking is the name of the game. You need to catch different crewmates alone, kill them off, and get away unseen before the body is reported. Try to split up the others by sabotaging rooms around the ship. If you're part of the crew, always move in a group of two or more, or you might be the next name permanently crossed off the list.
Server load
As entertaining as Among Us can be, the game does have some issues. The most significant problem is the limited server capacity. While this will likely be fixed in the future, online players will have to deal with crashes in the meantime. It speaks to the game's popularity, but it doesn't make for the best experience. Thankfully, you can still enjoy the game over your local WiFi network.
Silly survival game for friends
From the 2D graphics to the odd sound effects, Among Us is the epitome of a silly survival game. Short sessions allow for several quick rounds filled with laughter, jokes, and backstabbing. Best of all, you don't need to spend money on in-game purchases to have fun. The only downside is the limited server capacity, but that shouldn't be a problem for long.
