PDFTK is a cross-platform GUI tool which helps in creating PDF documents from any application or scripting library. PDFTK is simple and easy to use graphical interface tool for creating PDF documents with a variety of features including Portable Document Format (PDF) file type, security protection and multiple document merge abilities. It allows the user to manipulate the document as per their requirement. PDFTK uses an XML format for the document data and the application can be integrated with Windows desktop publishing systems such as Access, FrontPage and Win32 printer.

You can create PDFs from any application that supports the Portable Document Format (PDF) file type. In short, PDFTK works on Windows platform only but is available for Linux as well.

However, it requires high-and reliable performance from your windows XP machine.
