Free multiplayer first-person shooter

CSGO Mobile is a free multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Xccelerate Studio. Unlike other games such as golden shooter - shooting fps game, Combat Master Mobile, and Critical Survival Desert Shooting Game, it aims to recreate the experience of the popular computer game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for Android devices.
The goal of this project is to offer a direct port of the Windows and Mac versions of the game, with all features available. While the game is still under development and has many issues, it looks promising and is fully playable, with many players available for online matches.
Noteworthy graphics
The first thing that gets your attention when loading CSGO Mobile is its excellent graphics. Despite some low-resolution textures here and there, the graphics are on par with some of the best for Android.
Because it seems to use a lower resolution than its counterparts, there are some jagged edges on objects, too. Animations, effects and all other graphical features are faithful renditions of the original.
Same gameplay
The game plays the same as the computer version. You buy weapons and gear before each round and compete exclusively with human players. A well-developed interface lets you switch from your knife to your main and secondary weapons easily and control your movement with a left virtual joystick.
As for the game in itself, it feels very similar to the original. It has the same weapons, scenarios and things you can do. Even though virtual controls are decidedly worse than mouse-and-keyboard setups, it offers the same level of excitement.
Work in progress
Despite its best intentions, CSGO Mobile falls short in various places. Firstly, it’s not fully developed, so there are plenty of bugs. Additionally, the menus look crude and are only in Chinese, making it difficult for non-Chinese speakers to understand how to change options.
However, the core of the original game is still there and has a lot to offer to Android players. With enough polish, it could provide a lot of entertainment for when you’re on the go or without access to your computer version of the game. It’s definitely worth trying it out and being on the lookout for future updates.
