Mixxx for Mac

When you start Mixxx, it automatically scans your music library for audio files, which can be a bit annoying as you don't get any choice over it. However, the wait is worth it. Mixxx is complete but not overly complicated, making it perfect for aspiring DJs. There is plenty of documentation available for those who may get stuck, but the basic functionality is as simple as browsing to your music library and selecting two songs to use on the left and right decks.

Mixxx also offers an auto-syncing option, which measures the BPMs of each song. While this feature can sometimes produce strange results, it is nonetheless impressive. Professionals can also connect external devices such as CD players and vinyl decks to enhance their DJing experience. However, using these additional controls requires knowledge about mixing decks and how they work.
