Future Racer 2000 is an adventure game developed by Tim Oxton, available for the Windows platform with a full version license. The game is set in the future, where you play as a mysterious racer who must race against 7 computer players for the title of Future Racer. The game features cutting-edge graphics with 256 colors and a synthwave soundtrack. In addition, players can explore their own 1980’s bedroom, complete with favorite posters, and a brand-new video game console.
The game offers two types of controls: first-person controls and racing controls. The first-person controls use WASD for movement, space/left-click for interaction, Q to view what needs to be done, and ESC/TAB to pause. The racing controls use corresponding directional arrows using WASD, space/left-click for the next screen. However, there is no pause option during the race.
The entire experience lasts for minutes, depending on the player. While there are a few bugs, the developer encourages players to join the Discord channel to share any bugs or suggestions, or just say hello. Future Racer 2000 is a fun and engaging adventure game that is perfect for anyone who loves racing and synthwave music.
