File Salemvage is the new kid on the market and it is a very efficient tool to use for data recovery. Unlike other data recovery tools that require you to open the system, File Salemvage can open any version of the operating system, not matter if it is a PC, a Mac or even a Linux based Operating System. File Salamvage does this by the process of intelligently collecting, compressing and then restoring the relevant information to your computer. One of the features that makes this tool unique is that it is capable of recovering corrupted, lost, empty and even reformatted files as well. To repair a damaged drive, you need to have an operating system that is compatible with File Salamvage; this will make the recovery process much faster as compared to trying to retrieve a file from an incompatible operating system.
After you download and install File Salamvage onto your computer, you just need to execute the program by clicking on the "scan" option that is found in the taskbar. This will automatically begin a scan of your computer's hard drive to locate all lost, damaged and corrupted files. Once the software has detected these files, you will be able to view them and choose which ones you wish to recover; if you are unable to locate the files on your own, you can always utilize the help of the "restore" option that is present in the software.
Depending on the scan options you selected during the installation, the software will give you two different recovery options: fixing the damaged files and restoring the files that were already lost. If you select the repairing option, you will receive a list of all the damaged files that the software has located on your system. You will then be able to open each file individually; you will be able to see the location of the files and what type of problem they are suffering from. In the fix option, the damaged files will be repaired and then restored to their previous state; you will be given the opportunity to choose whether you want to undo the changes that have been made. Once both repair and restore have been successfully performed, the file that is in the middle of the error will be replaced by a "new" file. Filesalvage should be used on a regular basis to ensure that all of your computer's files are functioning properly; this is particularly important if you use the internet for uploading or downloading files.
