Call Map is an ad-free application developed by AndroAtticus for Android devices. It offers a minimalistic and clean interface that provides users with useful information about incoming or outgoing calls. Upon receiving or making a call, Call Map displays the name of the country of origin or destination, along with a map and/or the local time.
With Call Map, users have the flexibility to configure the duration for which the country name and map are displayed. Additionally, they can choose to show the country name in the official language, where applicable. The app also allows users to customize the vertical position of the displayed layer.
One of the key features of Call Map is the option to show the layer only for international calls, making it convenient for users who frequently make or receive calls from different countries. Moreover, Call Map supports state maps and names for the United States and Canada.
In terms of functionality, Call Map also offers the ability to display the local time on the remote side, providing users with accurate time information during their calls.
Looking towards the future, the developer has plans to introduce flag support and a widget, further enhancing the user experience.
