A simple calculator app

Calculator Free is a straightforward utility for PC that does exactly what it says in the title. While it lacks more sophisticated, scientific calculations functions, the simple, seamless interface makes it a handy tool for Windows users.
Exceptionally straightforward
While Windows 10 users can take advantage of Microsoft Calculator app, a built-in tool with all essential and advanced features, those on Windows 8 don't get the same benefit.
Calculator Free is one of the apps that seek to bridge that gap and provide you with a convenient desktop calculator. In that vein, this tool runs only on Windows. If you need a third-party Mac option, you can try Softmatic Calculator XL.
The way this app distinguishes itself from the other options is its choice of backgrounds. It combines functionality and beautiful graphics quite well, bringing you a seamless tool with four nature-themed elegant themes.
Clean interface
The UI is easy to navigate, allowing you to use the programme as well as switch themes with ease. All you need to do is click one of the button options you'll find on the top of your screen.
The only drawback related to the interface is that it tends to show you small ads at the bottom. However, they aren't always there, and even when they are, they're small enough not to be bothersome.
Works well enough
The basic functions you’ll find here are always accurate and quick. However, it doesn't help you with more advanced calculations. The only actions you can perform using this tool are addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It's not even a percentage calculator.
All in all, this programme is super elegant, and it integrates seamlessly into Windows 8. However, its usages don't cater to anyone looking for complex functionalities.
Handy but could be better
Calculator Free is a tasteful, lightweight app that makes up the lack of a built-in calculator programme on Windows OS. However, although it performs well, it could be much more comprehensive and useful if it included more services in its layout.
