Best Kakuro is a challenging logics game similar to Sudoku. In Kakuro, also known as Cross Sums, you need to solve crossword-style grids. You can only enter numbers one through nine, using hints from the results shown over and under the diagonal lines. This version of the game offers two different grid sizes (8x8 and 14x18) and five difficulty levels to keep the game challenging. Players can also use the timer mode to set time limits and test their skills. The game can be played using either the keyboard or mouse, with the latter allowing players to reveal possible combinations with mouse clicks. Best Kakuro also allows players to create and save their own puzzles and print them out. The only drawback is the weak interface, which could be improved for a better user experience. Despite this, Best Kakuro remains a fun game of Cross Sums on Mac.
