As suggested by the title, you’ll spend the bulk of your time in this game shooting at zombies and waiting to see what happens to their bodies when each round ends. If you enjoy mission-driven shooters with previous-gen graphics and incredibly complex menus, this is definitely a game to try.

Graphics
This is an incredibly important aspect of any game, and unfortunately, Zombie Shooter falls short. The menu is stunningly detailed, and it looks as though that’s where the developers focused most of their attention. The playfield, however, looks to have been neglected. Without going into too much detail, Zombie Shooter looks like the first Sims game. The assets, environment and textures all look like they’ve been directly ported from a game from the year 2000.
Gameplay
Zombie Shooter is remarkably decent in this arena. The game has numerous missions with many interactive areas that you can explore as you escape and eliminate zombies. Even though the graphics aren’t the best, they add to the general feel of the gameplay, making the entire experience feel like a nostalgic ’90s dungeon crawler.
Final impressions
Overall, the game is impressive. Zombie Shooter manages to skirt the line between ‘90s nostalgia and modern playability. It would be easier to consolidate the entire experience if the menu and the gameplay were either both modern or both tributes to ‘90s gaming. Instead, you have a little bit of a case of suspension of disbelief, where you could rather have had total immersion into the fantasy.
The game seems to receive regular updates, so you can download it with the assurance that any bugs and issues will be addressed eventually.
