Screenshots
WiFi Heatmap is a free Android app developed by Optivelox that is designed to help you analyze your Wi-Fi network. It can quickly draw a heat map that shows you exactly where the Wi-Fi signal strength is weak, making it easy for you to determine the best location for your access points or receiver.
The app features an automatic movement detector that allows you to walk around with your phone while the app takes care of the measurements. It also includes a set of tools that provide useful information about the wireless signal around you, making it a powerful Wi-Fi analyzer. The app can work as a channel analyzer for nearby access points, helping you to optimize your own network by decreasing interferences and increasing speed and stability.
WiFi Heatmap features a history of signal strength, beacon monitor, and probe request monitor (SS11 only). It also allows you to assess electromagnetic pollution caused by Wi-Fi radiation. The app is available in multiple languages including English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Russian.
Note that this is the trial version of WiFi Heatmap Pro, so some functions might be limited. Automatic movement detection requires a smartphone with both accelerometer and magnetic sensor support, otherwise only manual scan mode will be available.
